The manga also got an anime adaptation with 1,100+ episodes, and I've been on the pirate ride for a long time now. And as most fans would say, the anime is not the perfect adaptation of the source material. Now don't come at me with pitchforks; let's be honest, there are a lot of flaws in the anime that hinder the overall experience.

The problem mainly arises because of the gap that the animation studio needs to maintain between manga and anime. Luckily, unlike all other fandoms, we've been gifted with a second chance in the form of a remake. We've seen the hilarious Netflix memes about how they sometimes butcher the source material with unwanted changes. I mean, we have exemplary works like Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, etc. being destroyed.
