Damian Priest reveals his lost role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, making him the third WWE star to lose a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
WWE Superstar Damian Priest Reveals Why He Lost The Black Panther Wakanda Forever Roll
Kevin Feige's Marvel Cinematic Universe seems like an unhappy place for WWE stars. Damian Priest joined Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins on the list of pro wrestlers cut from a Marvel role. Priest revealed that he almost landed a role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever but ultimately didn't get to play the character.
WWE stars have previously made appearances in the MCU and other Marvel movies. Dave Bautista successfully played Drax in six Marvel movies and a Disney+ special. Tyler Mane recently played the role of Sabretooth in Deadpool & Wolverine, while Triple-H and Randy Savage have appeared in Blade: Trinity and Spider-Man respectively.
WWE stars looking to make a name for themselves in movies should consider avenues other than the MCU, as several stars have run out of luck with the franchise. Damian Priest, who won his first World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, has revealed his lost role in Kevin Feige's franchise in his latest interview.
