Minecraft Live 2024 is slowly approaching and so is the announcement of the next big Minecraft update — Minecraft 1.22. Several players, myself included, really want Minecraft 1.22 to be the much-requested End update, and I want to see this barren land, home of the Ender Dragon, get a major overhaul like the Nether. So today I'm going to share five features I'd love to see in the Minecraft End update.

The current End Dimension has five different Minecraft biomes, but since they all feel and look the same, it wouldn't be surprising if you didn't know. Because of this, it's important that each biome has its own personality, ambient, mobs, blocks, hazards, and maybe rewards when Mojang decides to give it a facelift.

This also means that the central End island should be renewed, from obsidian pillars to the End portal. When you think about it, the End Dimension is essentially represented as an alien land so the possibilities for unique areas are endless.

The most creative possibilities are perfectly captured by the BetterEnd mod, which transforms the entire dimension into a spectacular alien world full of colors, shapes and attractions.
