Playing the heavy class is all about rushing right into the face of your opponents. And in such situations, you need a weapon that delivers the ultimate damage in short bursts in large quantities. Sledgehammer does that job well, but it can look bland. Fortunately, you can unlock probably one of the best weapons in the heavy's arsenal.

The flamethrower is a high damage weapon with a range and better effect than the sledgehammer. You just need to click the fire button and tap the enemy. The fire spread is so great that there is a good chance that some of your opponents will burn to death. And there is no real counter to this weapon other than dodge, which is tough and flanking.
