Manor Lords have many systems to ensure that your city grows steadily. In addition to increasing your approval rating, there is a tech development tree with various points that focus on improvement. You will unlock these development points as you progress and upgrade your village. But like most other games, it's better to unlock some progression points than others. To help you avoid that exact confusion, keep reading as I break down the best evolution points to get in Manor Lords.

Note: Although I have suggested eight evolution points, you can only unlock a total of six points in early access. Also note that you cannot reset the points once they are selected. I suggest you go through the list below wisely and focus on the wishes you want. You have been warned.

Trapping is one of the best progression points you can unlock in Manor Lords. Chances are your assigned tiles will have animals. It will contribute to early food and later skins for leather. As such, unlocking captures gives your settlement passive income of meat along with skins. This is good because your settlement won't go hungry early.

Remember how I talked earlier about unlocking capture for meat production? Well, you can further improve your meat production by unlocking advanced skinning. This doubles the amount of meat hunters harvest. This of course helps to deal with the increased hunger demand from the villagers and is therefore very useful.
