In addition to expanding the already impressive world, audiences quickly learned that a sequel was just the beginning of James Cameron's plan. Announced as a five-film series, slated for release until 2031, there's a lot of uncharted and unexplored territory in Pandora.

Cameron recently announced the title of the third film, as well as what fans can expect from it, and he didn't hold back. The director speaks only in praise and is really ready to announce another record breaking film.

Recently, James Cameron made an appearance at the D23 trade show (via Variety ), where he went into detail about the next movie in the Avatar franchise. He began by revealing that the title of the film is Avatar: Fire and Ash. In addition to showing off how he can represent elements even more easily than Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender, he also talked about what fans can expect from the film.
