Last year, horror fans were treated to the first look at the long-rumored Silent Hill 2 Remake and several new Silent Hill projects from Konami. This included a new movie, an ongoing Silent Hill online choose-your-adventure series, and two new games in development. But outside of the remake, we haven't heard much about the other two projects in any capacity in recent years. We got Silent Hill the Short Message on PS5, but nothing major.

But now there seems to be more fuel for the fire. According to an X post, Konami will be hosting a brand new Silent Hill Transmission event. This is their take on the "showcase" phenomenon that most publishers have started to do. The second broadcast takes place on 30 May 2024 at 4 p.m. PDT.
The Silent Hill Transmission will be livestreamed on the official YouTube channel where we will get more light on the game. This may include an update to Silent Hill 2 Remake by Bloober Team, Silent Hill: Townfall by No Code and Silent Hill f by NeoBards Entertainment. We will also have an update on the film Return to Silent Hill by Christopher Gans.
We might get a final release date for the Silent Hill 2 remake. Previous leaks have suggested that the game will launch for PS5 and PC sometime this year. Konami and Bloober Team have been very coy about it though.
