A fan animation has proven why we need a Helldivers 2 X Terminators crossover ASAP.

Helldivers 2 is in desperate need of new content that will help bring back all the players it has lost over the past few months, and one of the only sensible options left is to follow Fortnite's path, introducing a long-awaited collaboration with another franchise. What would make the most sense would be a crossover with the Terminator franchise, something the players of the game have been preparing for since day one, even making custom animations to see how it would feel.

Posting on the game's official subreddit, a player has shown off what appears to be the best artwork anyone has created for Helldivers 2 yet. The animated video uploaded by the user features a barebones robot, inspired by the famous Terminator series and its character, T2.

Stomping on skulls while a war is going on in the background is the perfect example of why we need a crossover between the two ASAP. The animated video also goes so far as to show us how well a movie based on the game and its lore could work.
