The Aspire 5 has an aluminum chassis and can have up to a 14-inch 1440p QHD narrow-bezel display with an aspect ratio of 16:10. It comes with Acer's ComfyView technology along with a 45% NTSC color gamut and a 170-degree field of view. There's also a backlit keyboard with an integrated fingerprint reader.
The laptop is powered by Intel's 13th generation i5-1335U processor along with Nvidia RTX 2050 GPU. The RTX 2050 provides DLSS AI capabilities and Nvidia Optimus for hardware-based Ray Tracing and to seamlessly switch between iGPU and eGPU when needed. The notebook uses Acer's proprietary TwinAir Cooling for heat management. It is equipped with up to 32 GB LPDDR5 RAM with 512 GB SSD.
The machine also has a 50Wh battery with 65W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the laptop offers support for WiFi 6E, Bluetooth version 5.2. a full-size HDMI port, a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 port, and more. Other features include Acer PurifiedView AI for clear video quality and Acer PurifiedVoice AI for crisp voice quality during video calls. The laptop runs Windows 11 Home.
