'You should do what to fix FPS on PS5?'

Why Western developers are so angry about Elden Ring's success

FromSoftware's latest patch for Elden Ring has players scratching their heads with some of its proposed fixes for performance issues. After the release of the Shadow of The Erdtree DLC, players had issues with FPS drops and stuttering in the Land of Shadows.

The first patch since the DLC was released should include some tips for better performance. It suggests that players use the "Rebuild Database" feature, a feature unrelated to game performance. Players are not too happy with this advice, as it seems that instead of fixing the actual problem, they are just giving fake advice.

Lance McDonald, a streamer, took to X to express his disbelief. He compared the proposal to the often pointless advice from ISPs to remove cookies to improve internet speed.
