It's no secret that Nintendo is a strict company with a moody trigger finger. Recently, Nintendo defeated Yuzu in a court battle to make an emulator for the Switch. Adding insult to injury, Discord has now suspended the servers for the Suyu and Sudachi emulators along with their lead developer accounts. How Nintendo killed the open source emulator Yuzu

While the news of the server shutdown is confirmed, the reason behind it is not. According to The Verge, Discord has yet to properly answer this question. Remember, Yuzu was summoned and disappeared on March 4th, but Suyu and Sudachi appeared immediately.

Discord's Director of Product Communications, Kellyn Slone, told The Verge, “Discord responds to and complies with all legal and valid requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

"In this case, there was also a court-ordered injunction for the removal of this material, and we took action in a manner consistent with the court order"
