Jon Kern, one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto, calls this the "Agile Industrial Complex".

The proliferation of processes and frameworks that have emerged in the manifesto's wake are topics close to his heart. "It feels like we took a step back in time," he tells The Reg. "As if the manifesto never existed, and we're back to heavy lifting."
