Hollywood will hear Elizabeth Taylor's voice once again in the newly released HBO documentary, Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes. Nanette Burstein leads the project, which is based on 40 hours of lost interviews with the actress throughout 1984. One of the most devastating subjects covered in the documentary is the death of her third husband, Mike Todd.

The producer's death came at a time when Taylor was starring in the 1958 film Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The production of the film was already going through several problems and the death of Taylor's husband stopped it for a month. She was reportedly forced to return to the film by MGM, the studio behind the film.

Elizabeth Taylor was married eight times, twice to actor Richard Burton. But her only marriage ended in tragedy. Taylor was married to producer Mike Todd from 1957 until his tragic death in 1958. The Cleopatra actress didn't leave her house for a month after Todd's death, according to Liz: An Intimate Biography of Elizabeth Taylor.
