According to a recent Dragon Ball theory, Vegeta may not have lost a single battle against Goku, proving that Akira Toriyama doesn't hate him.

Akira Toriyama's Favorite Dragon Ball Character (It's Not Goku)

The anime and manga industry has seen many prominent rivalries develop, but none compare to the one that has been going on between the two Saiyans for ages. Both Goku and Vegeta from Dragon Ball have been fighting since the beginning, and Goku has always taken the victory from Vegeta's hands, making Vegeta jealous.

But this may not be the case at all. According to a new theory, Goku may never have won a fight against Vegeta (except in the training battles). In fact, it is Vegeta who has mostly dominated the battles and proved his worth as the Prince of the Saiyans. This theory also negates the assumptions that Akira Toriyama hates Vegeta.

Due to Goku's role as the protagonist, Dragon Ball fans have always assumed that Goku has been Toriyama's favorite character throughout the series. But if this theory holds any ground, it will clear up the false rumor and help Vegeta fans flaunt the underrated talents of their Saiyan Prince.
