First announced at Minecraft Live 2021, Allay was part of the 1.19 Wild update's mob fans. The community was given the opportunity to choose a new mob for the next update, and Allay won. We extend our condolences to Copper Golem and its fandom. But moving forward, Allay is a passive elf-like mob that chooses a certain item and collects its copies for the player through the charged pieces.
