Ever since EA and Respawn confirmed the launch of their uber-popular battle royale game Apex Legends on mobile platforms back in 2020, gamers have been eagerly awaiting its official release amid closed beta tests and delayed soft launches for the past two years. Apex Legends Mobile was finally released globally earlier this month, and it has been a huge success in the market. Now, according to reports, Apex Mobile earned $4.8 million in revenue within the first seven days of its launch. Check out the details below to find out more!

APEX LEGENDS MOBILE…IS GONE?!? 😭😨

Apex Legends Mobile, before its release on May 17, collected 15 million pre-registrations globally, indicating the massive hype surrounding the title among mobile gamers. Last week, a Sensor Tower report stated that the title became the most downloaded mobile battle royale game in 60 countries. It even dethroned BGMI from the top spot on the App Store in India.

Now, according to recent reports, Apex Legends mobile earned $4.8 million in revenue from players in the first week of its global release. Revenue came from players' in-game purchases, specifically Syndicate Gold points that allow them to unlock the new mobile-exclusive legend Fade. Other sources of revenue for Apex Legends include the "Prime Time" Battle Pass, the in-game store, and cosmetic items such as gun and legend skins.

So, the first week revenue for Apex Legends Mobile is definitely not bad but less than the first week revenue of COD Mobile, as the latter earned a whopping $14.8 million in the first seven days after its launch back in 2019. However, it is worth noting that Apex Legends Mobile grossed significantly more than PUBG Mobile's first week revenue of $600,000. Going forward, EA and Respawn are expected to introduce more legends (characters), new battle passes and other in-game events to increase revenue streams for the title.
