The long wait is finally over! OLED iPad Pro is real now. Apple unveiled its long-awaited 2024 iPad Pro at the May 7 "Let Loose" event. The 2024 iPad Pro has a stunning Ultra Retina XDR OLED display, an M4 chip, larger screens and other upgrades. The new iPads are available for pre-order starting today and will hit shelves as early as next week. Let's check out the full specifications and availability information below.

The new iPad Pro + M4 chip

The all-new OLED iPad Pro has more power in a thinner and lighter design. Apple launched the new Pro with a fresh design, powerful interior and slightly larger screen sizes of 11 inches and 13 inches. The 11-inch model is 5.3 mm thick, while the 13-inch model is only 5.1 mm thick. Apple claims that the new ‌iPad Pro‌ is the thinnest Apple product ever. With improved aesthetics, the new iPad Pro looks more luxurious than ever.

As expected, Apple skipped the M3 chip and opted for the more capable M4 chipset for the latest Pros. Both models are powered by the all-new M4 chipset, which is claimed to be an "outrageously powerful chip for AI."

One of the most notable features of the 2024 iPad Pro is the Ultra Retina XDR OLED display, which uses two panels in a tandem design to offer even better full-screen brightness. The new Pro offers up to 1,000 nits of brightness for SDF and HDR and 1,600 nits of peak HDR brightness. This means you can expect perfect blacks, rich color saturation, improved luminance and more detail. The new iPad Pro is also more responsive to content in motion.
