The iPhone SE 4 appears to be on the way and is expected to launch next year. This gives way to plenty of rumors and leaks before the actual launch takes place and to follow the tradition we have a new one that talks about the next generation iPhone SE display. Take a look at the details below.

iPhone SE 4: Apple's secret budget phone revealed!

A recent report from The Elec suggests the biggest change Apple will introduce with the budget iPhone SE 4 — the presence of an OLED screen. Apple is said to be enlisting BOE's help for this with an estimated 20 million units. The display maker was previously expected to supply panels for the 2023 iPhone 15 series but could not due to production issues.

The iPhone SE 4 is likely to have a 6.1-inch screen, which will be a first for the SE lineup. Apple is expected to use the OLED screen inventory for either iPhone 13 or iPhone 14 considering that it would be a low-end iPhone. So a big screen with a notch is what we can expect.

Until now, the iPhone SE has used a small LCD screen, and using an OLED screen could change things for the dying iPhone series. With big screen changes for the next iPhone SE, we can expect the phone to adopt Face ID and drop Touch ID. Or perhaps it could integrate a side-mounted fingerprint reader, which will also be a first for Apple.
