After beta testing, Apple has finally released the iOS 17.2 update to everyone. The update brings tons of new features (unlike the previous updates which mainly focused on bug fixes) like the new Journal app.

The Journal app, which is one of the highlights of iOS 17, helps you write down your thoughts and experiences and if you are an avid journaler, this will be a great addition for you. The app supports features like iCloud sync, Touch ID/Face ID, scheduled notifications, filters, and the ability to group photos, exercise data, and more.
The update also includes the new action button translation option so that conversations with others can be easily translated. For those who don't know, the new button replaces the old alert slider and is currently on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max and can be remapped so you can use it for functions other than silencing the phone. The Camera app has also received an update; there is the introduction of Spatial video recording (for iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max), which is primarily intended for enhanced viewing experience on Apple Vision Pro mixed headsets. The telephoto lens on the iPhone 15 Pro models has also been improved.
