Apple has released its slate of 2023 products, and we're now focusing on what's coming next year. Little is known about the next-generation MacBook Pro and Air models, and according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the upcoming M3 chip will power these. Take a look at the details.

BREAKING: M4 Mac Mini Redesign Confirmed After 14 Years!

Mark Gurman has revealed via his latest Power On newsletter that Apple is preparing to launch its next generation M3 silicon next year and this will be seen powering the new MacBook Air and Pro models. It is suggested that the MacBook Pro with 14-inch and 16-inch screen size options is in the DVT (design validation test) stage and should be out by spring 2024.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro is said to have the M3 Pro chip, while the 16-inch MacBook Pro may include the M3 Max chip. The M3 MacBook Air with 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes is in its EVT, or Technical Verification Test, and should be released by summer 2024.

Apple has been found testing the M3 (with Mac mini) and M3 Pro chips and it seems that this will soon become a reality but may not come as expected sooner. For those who don't know, the new MacBooks with the new silicon were expected this month (right after the launch of the iPhone 15 series) but Gurman has now avoided that!
