Apple cut at least 600 jobs as projects were halted

As Reg readers might expect, the world's most valuable company isn't saying much about the reasons behind the layoffs. After all, Project Titan – presumably the name of the self-driving car project – was supposed to be kept secret. In February, however, it appeared that Apple had released the development.

The company confirmed the job losses in a WARN filing with the California Employment Development Department (EDD.)
