Back in 2018, Aquaman was released by DC Studios and became the highest-grossing DCEU film, grossing over a billion dollars worldwide. Now, in 2023, DC is planning to bring back the franchise with Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, which will be released on December 22nd. This movie has received its share of criticism and praise based on the trailer. Jason Momoa is making a comeback as Arthur Curry, the king of Atlantis in his standalone Aquaman movie after five long years. In the past we've seen Jason sporting a comically accurate gold and green costume, but this time his costume has seen some changes.
This new suit is darker and has the ability to camouflage and is probably made from Atlantean technology based on squids. This brand new costume does not have gloves or boots that the classic costume includes.
It's been a while since we've seen Aquaman in action since Zack Snyder's Justice League, so I think it might actually be pretty fun to see after so long.
