Many fans have been unhappy with one of Ubisoft's most popular franchises in recent years. Despite the imminent success of Assassin's Creed Shadows for the studio, concerns remain regarding the handling of character marketing and the reduced hype compared to previous installments.

A Reddit user made a pretty accurate observation about how the main character wearing a hood would greatly enhance his mysterious aura and make the character much more appealing to the player. Unlike the previous games, this game's protagonists reveal their identities, which is a major complaint.

Over the years, this popular franchise has failed to attract the same number of fans as in its early days. Recent Assassin's Creed games have strayed too far from the series' conventional formula and have virtually nothing connecting them to this universe.
