First things first, let's get the hardware specs out of the way before I proceed with the review. The Asus ROG Strix GL503 packs in a 7th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor along with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or 1060 GPU, along with 8 or 16GB of RAM. On paper, the specs are excellent for a budget gaming laptop, and the GL503 has a number of unique additions that help it stand out in the saturated budget notebook space.
