Thanks to the multiple choice system in Banishers, you need to know how to get a real ending if you want to experience the real end game. Every choice you make can affect how the story unfolds, meaning it can change the story. This doesn't mean the ending you unlock isn't the right one; but there is a real ending anyway.
This story-driven action RPG evolves thanks to the way most characters interact with each other. In other words, you can end up on several paths during your gameplay. Eventually you will get a fixed ending, depending on what you did. Choosing how to handle the cases you are assigned and what to do with the souls you encounter is the key to getting the best ending.
There are four possible endings in Banishers, and if you pay attention, you can learn how to get a real ending on your own. Each time you encounter a soul, you can choose to banish it, blame it, or ascend it. Depending on which one you choose the most, your story and the consequences of what you did will change.
