'Batman: Full Moon' will open just in time for the scary season

Batman: Full Moon – Rodney Barnes Black Label Batman Book Coming In October!

Batman: Full Moon is DC Comics' latest Black Label miniseries, and artist Stevan Subic (The Riddler: Year One) has certainly produced some Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark vibes for it.

DC's press release promises "an ancient and supernatural force" stalking Gotham's streets, "a werewolf so powerful it will defy Batman's most trusted resources: his brilliant mind and extensive gadgets." But the four pages of Subic's work revealed in it promise sick colors, a truly monstrous monster and a shadowy ghostly Batman.

Subic is teaming up with Rodney Barnes (the writer behind the Eisner-nominated urban vampire series Killadelphia) for the four-issue miniseries, which will be printed with glow-in-the-dark covers. And if that screams "Halloween" to you, well, Batman: Full Moon #1 hits shelves just in time for the holidays on October 9th. (It's not a full moon, so you better be safe from werewolves when you head out to get a copy.)
