Although Marvel offers a wide range of films and stories, very few can be considered as interesting as Captain America: Civil War. The days of brutal battles, road chase sequences, mind controlled assassins or being mercilessly hunted by the Black Panther are all in the rearview mirror. But once the Robert Downey Jr. movie was the pinnacle of MCU quality content compared to the latest saga that has barely produced two good movies in the last 5 years.

Marvel's foray into the realm of fantasy and superhero adventure has never been without its faults. In the late '90s and early 2000s, Blade's big-screen debut ended in a controversial run while Mahershala Ali's current reboot looks like a distant dream. But even the vampire-hunting morally gray anti-hero gets his day in the sun.

But when it comes to the complex gray area of morality, Victor von Doom is perhaps the ultimate dream role you could ask for.
