The Boys Season 4 Episode 8 is now out and when I say that this episode might just be the best I've ever seen in a web series, you have to agree with me that that's really an understatement for how amazing it was. This episode showed us a lot of amazing things but the highlight of it was Butcher using his powers. For a very long time his powers have been speculated but now it has been revealed in The Boys Season 4 Episode 8.

Earlier in the series, we see that when Butcher found out he has cancer, he took some compound V stolen from Frenchie in hopes of curing himself. It was later revealed that Butcher in The Boys Season 4 has hallucinations of his dead friend Joe Kessler, but in truth it is the cancer talking to him and telling him what to do.

We saw Butcher kill Ezekiel but we never got to see how he did it. In The Boys Season 4 Episode 8, we see that Compound V didn't give Butcher powers, but made him cancer-sensing and super-powered. Butcher's cancer is his superpower and gives him the ability to create tentacles out of his body which he used to kill Victoria Newman. It's also possible that as the show progresses, we could see a Venom-like ripoff in The Boys Season 5.
