‘Culture’ doesn’t have an independent existence. A culture won’t be wiped out all of a sudden unless the population is wiped out as well. Culture is susceptible to changes. Rather than disappearing all of a sudden, a culture often evolves and/or merges into another as a result of influences from other cultures.

Shinto and Buddhism are Japan’s two major religions. Shinto is as old as the Japanese culture, while Buddhism was imported from the mainland in the 6th century. Most Japanese consider themselves Buddhist, Shintoist or both. Religion does not play a big role in the everyday life of most Japanese people today.

In ancient times, the Japanese believed that all natural phenomena, animals, and plants possesed kami, or divine power. Shinto and Buddhism have both become important parts of daily Japanese life. On New Year’s eve, for example, the ringing of Buddhist temple bells fills the air.

In the context of globalization, cultural destruction can be defined in two ways. One definition refers to perceptions that globalization is having a destructive impact on local cultures, encompassing objects and sites as well as other forms of cultural expression such as traditions, beliefs, and knowledge.

Those risks are: lack of planning, lack of military awareness, accidental damage, deliberate targeting, looting, deliberate reuse of sites, enforced neglect and development. Cultural heritage is what makes us human.

There are numerous risks and dangers threatening the cultural heritage, such as war and political, ethnic and religious conflict, looting, theft, illegal export and import, illicit trafficking of cultural property, deterioration, neglect, destruction of or alteration to heritage, pollution, and disappearance.

The dangers faced by these properties have been serious and specific. They have suffered impacts such as war, armed unrest, earthquake, continuing poaching, unplanned road construction, uncontrolled mining, hurricane, ecological collapse and uncontrolled pollution.

National Heritage places. the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. nuclear actions. a water resource, in relation to coal seam gas development and large coal mining development.

In a new study published in the journal Biological Conservation, researchers assessed how human activities impact natural world heritage sites. On average, the team found, human pressures and forest loss actually increased more the closer to Natural World Heritage Site they were measured.

The best way to preserve your culture is to keep it alive. Gather as a group not just for holidays, but for ordinary meals, events, or just conversation. Many aspects of culture are difficult to learn in books and museums, including etiquette, body language, and humor.

Cultural heritage and natural history of a nation has a very high value and is unique. It is an identity that can be introduced to the world. It is important to preserve our cultural heritage, because it keeps our integrity as a people.
