You can order a copy of an up-to-date statement in Online Banking or at one of our cash machines. You can also order your previous statements by calling Telephone Banking or visiting a branch.

Remember – you can view and print your last 12 months’ worth of statements by logging into Barclaycard online servicing or through the Barclaycard app. You can order a paper copy of your statement by using the ‘chat’ feature in the Barclaycard app.

Depending on the circumstances, a customer often can simply visit a local branch of a financial institution and obtain printed copies of bank statements and canceled check images. This can depend on the level of access the local branch has to the account and the number of documents the customer requests.

You can search your statement archive by selecting ‘Online Statements’ from the drop-down menu under your name on the Online Banking homepage, then select the relevant account. Your statements will also be in your Barclays Cloud It storage account, which you can get to from the dropdown menu under your name as well.

You can order copies of your statements beyond what is available online, up to 7 years ago. Your statement copy will be delivered online, free of charge. If you are an Online Banking customer, you can sign into Online Banking, and select Statements & Documents under the Accounts tab.

To generate an account statement:

1. Click My Accounts > Account statement.
2. Select the account for which you wish to generate a statement.
3. Select an option for the statement period.
4. Select the start and end dates if you select the By Date option.
5. Select an option to view, print or download the account statement.

Visit the credit card company’s website and log on to your account. If you don’t have an online account, you must establish one to access your statements and other documents on the website. Once you log into your account, look for an “account activity” or “statements” tab.

To access your credit card statement, you’ll first have to create an online account via your card issuer’s website. If you obtained a credit card through your current bank or credit union, your credit card account may be accessible through your existing online banking account.

To view them, log in to your app, choose ‘More’, ‘Statements and documents’, and ‘Statements’. From the list, choose the relevant statement and tap ‘Download’ – you’ll then be able to print it. Watch our video guide to viewing and downloading your statements in the Barclays app.

If you haven’t registered for Online Statements, the default view for your account transactions in Online Banking is normally 7 days, and you can also view your current statement, which usually goes back to a maximum of 30 days.

How to Access Your Bank Statements Online

1. Log in to your account through the bank’s website or app.
2. Find where your bank houses their electronic statements.
3. Select the statement period you want to view.
4. Review the statement on your computer, tablet, or phone — or download your statement as a PDF.

Your Online Statement will be uploaded 2 working days after the working day you have requested it. You can order an up-to-date (interim) statement in Online Banking and going to ‘Service centre’, ‘View all online services’ then ‘Order’, selecting ‘Interim account statement’ and clicking on the Order interim statement link.

As long as you don’t cancel your Online Banking registration, you’ll be able to see statements for your closed accounts in Online Banking for up to 7 years from the date you registered for Online Banking or from July 2013 (whichever is earlier).

No problem with the current accounts online but Barclaycard only retain the last 12 months statements online. Their help pages contain little information so I called them and they explained paper copies could be sent at a cost of £2 each, total £48.

If you close your current account, we need to provide you with up to five years of your transaction history by law – if you want it. You can ask for it at a later date, but you’ll only get up to five years from the day you ask us. We’ll send you the transaction history as paper copies of your statements.
