Kit Harington spent nearly a decade playing one of the most serious characters on television, the brooding Jon Snow from Game of Thrones. Having embodied such a character for a significant part of his career, Harington's image has also come to be associated with his character. Since Jon Snow remained steadfastly solemn throughout his time on the series, it was understandably not easy for the actor to maintain his gloom.

Describing himself as a "funny person," when Harington joined the cast of Season 3 of TV's latest hot show, Industry, the actor had just one request for the markers: to add a touch of humor to his character.

Kit Harington is best known for playing the incurably serious Jon Snow in Game of Thrones. After years of portraying him in the drama-filled fantasy show, his stoic portrayal seems just right for the solemn world of Westeros.
