Dragon equipment is a range of tier 60 equipment available to pay-to-play players. With the exception of darts and arrows, Dragon items are made of a hard, dark-red metal called Orikalkum (the former being made of dragon talons)….Main hand weapons.

The dragon platebody requires the completion of Dragon Slayer I and level 60 Defence to wear. It offers some of the highest bonuses of any non-degradable armour in the game, providing higher slash and stab defence than the Bandos chestplate.

The items are nearly identical to their regular counterparts, except for two key points: they are available to both pay-to-play members and free-to-play players, and all pieces of this equipment can only be worn for 30 minutes before they crumble to dust (they degrade both in and out of combat).

The dragon scimitar is the strongest scimitar available in Old School RuneScape. It can only be wielded by players who have an Attack level of 60 and have completed the Monkey Madness I quest. It may be purchased from Daga on Ape Atoll for 100,000 coins.

Superior dragon weapons are dragon weapons that have been upgraded using a Wilderness hilt, purchased from the Bounty Hunter & Deathmatch Reward Shop. The upgrade increases the weapons’ stats from tier 60 to 70 while retaining special attacks, and also increases the Attack level required to equip.

The dragon full helm gives better defence bonuses than its medium helm counterpart. Due to its high price, and lack of prayer or strength bonuses, it is more often used as a sign of wealth, rather than in combat.

Dragon hastae are obtained as loot from the brimstone chest, which requires a brimstone key to open. Brimstone keys are obtained as drops by killing any monsters under an assignment of Konar.

The dragon spear, 2h, hatchet, claws, and pick have no quest reqs. However, dragon weapons suck compared to modern options. The sarad sword (not to be confused with the godsword), zam spear, and whip are far better options available to any returning player.

It retains the special attack of the base weapon. The upgrade process is irreversible, and the superior item cannot be traded or disassembled.

The chainbody and platebody are this expensive because they were once very rare. The mediuj helmet and full helmet have the same story. Stat-wise, you’re better of with a Helm of Neitiznot in most cases. Once you hit 70 defence, dragon armour becomes obsolete as you can get Barrows then.
