All 12 party games from Super Monkey Ball 2 return in Deluxe, unlocked and available to play from the start. This game mode can be played to up to four players. You can race on a single course on One Course Race Mode and you can enter a series races in the Grand Prix Mode.

You still get 5 continues, but you don’t get any more with Play Points. Instead, you can get lives with 500 play points for each life after six new party games unlocked. You can get up to 99 lives by getting a total of 48,000 points.

By tilting the board at various angles, players can control the speed and turning of the character. The goal of each level is to reach the goal gate before the timer runs out, and without falling off the floor. Bonus points and extra lives can be earned by collecting bananas on the stage.

Monkey Ball features 50 floors, along with 10 extra floors. These were all ported to Super Monkey Ball and given new areas and better graphics. Completion of these stages takes you to the final floor, which is the only Master stage present in the game.

There are six different characters to choose from in Banana Blitz, including YanYan and Doctor who first appeared in this game. Each character has their own varying stats that affects the gameplay.

In Super Monkey Ball, Play Points are used to unlock the three Mini Games: Monkey Billiards, Monkey Bowling, and Monkey Golf. Each is unlocked with 2500 Play Points. After unlocking all three, an extra continue is automatically added every time you reach 2500 points.

The easiest way to beat the stage is to head over to the bottom left of the stage, face the gear, and wait until the timer hits 51.5, then charge straight into the gear.
