I've been using Instagram for a while now and there are times when you don't want someone to like your post. Maybe you're trying to avoid your partner finding out who you're messaging on Instagram, you don't want people to see someone who knows you, or you just don't want fake Instagram accounts to like your Instagram post, whatever the reason, you can remove similar.

Can you remove a like on Instagram?

Unlike comments on Instagram, Instagram does not allow you to remove likes during your post. If you don't want someone's profile to show up in your likes, the only way to get rid of it is to block them. If you decide to unblock them, all of their likes will reappear on your posts again. The problem with this is that you actually have to block people to remove their likes which is a hard process to take.

Unfortunately, the only way to tell them is to dislike your post or your only other option is to block them. If they decide to deactivate their account, all the likes they have made on your account will be deleted, this is the same if they delete their account.
