Earlier this year, Eiichiro Oda's one-shot manga, Monsters, received an anime adaptation. With the latest news, it looks like 2024 could be the best year for Mangakas as we get yet another anime adaptation of a one-shot manga. This time, Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto's "Look Back" one-shot is getting an anime film from Studio Dorian.

We don't deserve this anime

Fujimoto sensei was well known for his one-shot manga before Chainsaw Man became a mega hit, animated by MAPPA Studios. But now one of his best works has been given the green light to get an anime adaptation.

Recently one of the best arcs in CSM also got a movie adaptation titled Reze Arc. Therefore, this will be a double delight for Fujimoto fans.

The Look Back project is led by Kiyotaka Oshiyama and Studio Dorian. Additionally, Look Back is confirmed to be released on June 28, 2024 in Japan. There is no word on the international release yet. The announcement came in the form of a teaser, which you can watch here:
