While "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" may be a box office smash, Charlize Theron has nothing but good things to say about it, as do the critics.

Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth starred in the fifth film of George Miller's Mad Max series, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. The film focuses on the early life of Imperator Furiosa who was played by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road. The prequel takes place about 15 to 20 years before the events of Fury Road and tells the story of how Furiosa became an imperator.
Unfortunately, despite the hype surrounding its predecessor, Furiosa continued to bomb at the box office. On the other hand, the film has received great reviews from critics and fans alike. In fact, OG Furiosa, Charlize Theron also thinks the movie is absolutely "amazing."
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga was released in theaters on May 24 this year. Although critics had mostly positive things to say about the film, this was not reflected in its box office performance.
