Originally planned as a tie-in to Black Desert, Crimson Desert hit the market as a short trailer in 2020. However, everything went quiet soon after, with players dying for more news. That has now changed at Gamescom 2023 as Pearl Abyss, the developer, has come out with a brand new gameplay trailer for Crimson Desert. Learn all about it here.

After years of waiting, we finally got a long and detailed trailer for Crimson Desert. In the three-minute-plus trailer, we see protagonist Kliff exploring and surrounding lands of the Hernand region as he investigates various quests. The trailer also shows a wide range of actions, including the character petting animals, managing his stock, fishing and other many different actions.
The trailer also brings back more of the action we first saw in 2020. Kliff once again finds himself in brutal sword fights against tough enemies. But the trailer also shows off various animations, including crashing straight into enemies with your horse and even getting into awesome boss fights against impossible enemies. The action-packed trailer ends with a sprawling map and the character parachuting into seemingly nowhere.
From what we've seen, Crimson Desert looks like a great combination of elements from games like Assassin's Creed, Ghost of Tsushima, and more combat-style creations.
