Swamp Thing: Official Trailer (DC Universe)

When you think of the DC live-action universe, Swamp Thing might not be the first thing that comes to mind. Sitting somewhere in the back of our minds, Gary Dauberman's show seems like a distant memory at best. Of course, its tragic fate in the superhero universe may have had something to do with this.

Shortly after the premiere, Swamp Thing was pulled from the stage and canceled before the rest of the episodes were released. Fans still haven't forgotten the mistreatment of the show, calling out DC for giving up on it so easily and leaving audiences begging for more, especially when they remember an iconic scene from the pilot episode.

The first episode of Swamp Thing was released on May 31, 2019. Just one week later, on June 6, the show was canceled, shocking the audience. Creative differences with WarnerMedia were cited as the reason for the show's axing.
