Marvel Rivals revokes access from players?

All that for an L and an SVP 😓| Marvel Rivals Close Beta

Marvel Rivals, the hero shooter from NetEase, doesn't have a smooth transition from its alpha to its first beta test. Many players have found that they are unable to log into the game with Steam giving them a message saying that the product key was revoked by the publisher.

While that would be pretty funny, this has nothing to do with the recent CrowdStrike outage. Just a case of error in game management. Many players who passed the required level 10 during the closed alpha found their access revoked.

The confusion came mainly from miscommunications about the level requirements. Players who participated in the game's closed alpha test and had reached the required account level of 10 had their access to the Marvel Rivals beta revoked.
