Dell further improves its Luna Sustainable PC Design concept

HomeGames, Guides, How toDell further improves its Luna Sustainable PC Design concept

Last year, Dell introduced us to the Concept Luna, which is a durable PC design for simple laptop repairs. A year later, Dell is still quite serious about the new concept and is talking about it further, and has now further refined the modular nature of the concept. Check out the details below.

Concept Luna: The evolution of sustainable PC design

Dell's concept Luna is an attempt to reuse available materials and repair a laptop for reduced carbon emissions and a sustainable environment. The new concept of PC design has been further advanced to eliminate the need for glues and cables, making repairability easier than ever. In addition, disassembly would also be easy.

Dell's Glen Robson says: "Concept Luna could dramatically simplify and speed up repair and disassembly processes, make components more accessible and expand reusability."

While a conventional process to repair or disassemble a device can take hours (this includes screws, glue and various soldered components), the Concept Luna can perform the same process in minutes. The parts come with QR codes, making it easier to replace them. Dell also has a video for us that shows off the whole process. You can check it below for a better idea.
