Gears of War: E-Day is one of the most anticipated games for Xbox players. The beloved franchise finally returns in an all-new prequel title with the return of fan-favorite characters Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago.

The Gears series has seen its ups and downs since the original trilogy ended in 2011. The Coalition has kept the series alive with Gears of War 4 in 2016, followed up by Gears 5 a few years later.

That game didn't leave a lasting impact on fans because the story wasn't as solid as previous installments. With Gears of War 6 still on the table, fans are worried that E-Day could be the final straw.
