One of the latest additions to Diablo 4 that breaks with tradition is the world bosses, and Ashava is one of them. If you've played the beta versions before, chances are you've fought this dragon. And Ashava is tough to fight unless you are high level and equipped with appropriate gear. But fear not, as I fought Ashava a few times to understand how the boss works, so you won't have to fumble around after you reach world level 3 and run into him for the first time.

As previously mentioned, the world bosses in Diablo 4 appear randomly in certain places, and Ashava is no different. In the many encounters I have had with Ashava, he has specifically appeared in five places. See the map image below to learn the areas. Before the boss fight, you'll find a flashing logo on the map that shows the approximate time the battle will start. Spawn at the nearby fast travel point and enter the boss area using your mount in Diablo 4.

As for timings, it is a bit difficult to track the exact times when Ashava appears. The world boss system in Diablo 4 is a randomized rotation, with the three bosses appearing every six hours multiple times. This means that luck permitting, you have a chance to stumble upon Ashava several times in a day if you miss it the first time.

Thanks to the efforts of various players, there are many ways to track when Asha appears. A good resource we use is a Twitter account called the Diablo 4 World Boss Timer. This account tracks the manager's appearance timings precisely.
