A wide variety of actors, from Kirk Alyn to Henry Cavill, have donned the Kryptonian cape of Superman. But a large portion of DC fans hail Christopher Reeve as the definitive version of the character. Despite Henry Cavill's fame in the role, unlike Reeve, his story ended abruptly when James Gunn took over DC Studios.

Recently, a clip shared by Turner Classic Movies gave us a look at the amazing chemistry shared between Christopher Reeve's Superman and Margot Kidder's Lois Lane. Fans were sent on a nostalgic trip as the clip, featuring an iconic scene from the 1978 Richard Donner film, presented the best live-action version of Lois Lane.

Richard Donner wowed fans when he released the Superman movie in 1978 starring Christopher Reeve, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder and many others. The film was a huge success at the box office and a critical hit. While the film spawned three sequels, the first installment is hailed by many DC fans as the most memorable portrayal of Last Son of Krypton history.
