With apples being one of the first ingredients you get to forage early in the game, it would stand to reason that you'll be able to make some of this when you unlock cooking in the valley.
To be honest, we've been a bit put off experimenting with this recipe because you traditionally have to bake pies in the oven and we thought pies would be available when you upgrade the kitchen further or get an oven.
It was a pleasant surprise when we stumbled upon this while experimenting on the cookware. From here we were able to unlock different types of recipes, including those that require ovens, among other things.
