Q. Do you break wax melts?
1. Break off one or two chunks of your wax melt (depending on how strong you like your fragrance) and place in either a tealight or electric wax burner. Once your tealight is lit or electric burner is turned on, the wax will slowly melt and release beautiful aromas. One chunk of wax should release scent for 8-10 hours.
Q. How do you break wax melts?
Another very easy way to remove your old wax melts from a wax burner is to use a spoon. Since wax is a relatively soft substance, a spoon will help break it away and scoop it out. The curve of the spoon also works well in the curved bowl of a wax melter/burner. You can then simply drop the melt into the bin.

To ensure that you get the most out of your wax melts and their shelf life, make sure you store your wax melts in a cool, dark place. We find that storing your wax melts in a bathroom cabinet above the sink or in a drawer most convenient to your warmer makes sense.
Q. Is it okay to leave a wax warmer on all night?
A tealight wax warmer can be left on between 4 – 8 hours or until the scent has stopped. Electric wax warmers can be left on for up to 10 hours or until the wax melt has stopped giving off fragrance.
Q. How do you remove wax melts from a warmer freezer?
Simply place your warmer in the freezer for ten to twenty minutes. The wax will become solid and shrink in this time, popping out of your wax-melter. All you need to do then is wipe the dish clean with a paper towel and you are ready to go again.

If you notice that you can’t smell your wax melt very much, it might be time to change wax, or you might find that your nose has gotten used to the smell as you’ve been around it for a long period of time.
