Being an avid reader of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, I must warn all enthusiasts not to get attached to any character in the series. Gege Akutami can turn your favorite character to ashes in an instant. He did the same with several beloved characters, including Nanami, Nobara and even our Gojo sensei. Well, Choso is a death painting womb (half human, half curse) that almost killed Yuji in the Shibuya arc, so no one cared about him. But when he sided with our protagonist, Choso gained some fans. And as the fight against Sukuna continues and Gege Akutami is on a killing spree, all fans are wondering if Choso is dead in the manga.

Let's get to the bottom, unfortunately, yes, Choso dies in the manga. Despite his mastery of the blood manipulation technique, he was unable to protect himself from ultimately falling victim to Sukuna's attacks.

In Chapter 259, the King of Curses overwhelms Yuji and Choso with his fire technique. However, the King of Curses wanted to kill Yuji with the technique, but Choso intervened to become a shield. In his final moments, he apologized to his brother Yuji for not being able to teach him the techniques that would help him against the deadly enemy.
