Not only did Clay randomly lose his virginity to Sheriff Diaz’s daughter in Episode 5, but he celebrated by beating the crap out of her boyfriend in front of an entire house full of people. And just for good measure, he pointed at Winston and threatened to “end” him.

Clay Jenson might be the main character of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why franchise but that doesn’t mean he’s exempt from being annoying. This season in particular Clay was a tad annoying because of his refusal to ask his friends for help when he clearly needed it.

Therapy and partying. Clay is adamant that he did not take drugs. Clay narrates that he doesn’t take drugs but then in the next scene, he’s smoking a bong. Justin tells Clay that he lied to his parents — Clay tells him that his parents are not his: “They never trusted you, that’s why they drug tested you”.

Eighth episode “Acceptance/Rejection” reveals Clay has been suffering from trauma-induced dissociative fugue since the beginning of the season.

According to Hannah, she had secretly wanted Clay to stay and console her. Hannah went on to say that Clay didn’t actually belong on the list at all. However, he needed to be there as he was a part of her story. Plus, she wanted him to hear her side – which he may not have, had the tapes merely gone through the others.

For a few lovely minutes, 13 Reasons Why feels like a normal high school show instead of a series built around a tragic suicide. Eventually, Hannah and Clay make their way to Jessica’s bedroom to deal with their mounting sexual tension. Clay finally kisses Hannah and their clothes quickly start coming off.

In 13 Reasons Why’s series finale, Justin succumbed to complications from AIDS and died. Justin’s death was a development that Brandon Flynn’s co-star, Dylan Minnette, previously praised. Minnette added that he and Flynn were hoping for Justin to have that ending in Season 4.

No, Dylan, who plays Clay Jensen, isn’t dating Katherine. He’s actually in a relationship with a singer name Lydia Night. Lydia is the lead vocalist and guitarist of a punk rock band called The Regrettes. Dylan and Lydia have been dating since 2018.

Unfortunately, Tony did not realize what was going to happen until it was too late. Later, Tony eventually lets Clay in on the real secret: He could have stopped Hannah from killing herself. Tony admits that when Hannah came to his house with the tapes, he saw that she was outside his door.

Dylan, who plays the role of Clay Jensen, is dating Lydia Night. Previously, he and actress Kerris Dorsey dated for several years.

Despite fans of the show shipping Katherine (Hannah Baker) and Dylan in real life, the Australian actress is currently a single lady.

We are then served a flashback to when Ani and Bryce were out having fun; that night they had sex, which spawned many nights of sleeping together.

The tapes were passed down, in order, to Justin Foley, Jessica Davis, Alex Standall, Tyler Down, Courtney Crimsen, Marcus Cole, Zach Dempsey, Ryan Shaver, Sheri Holland, Clay Jensen, Bryce Walker, and Kevin Porter.

Hannah is NOT in the third series. Actress Katherine Langford is not listed anywhere as being in season three. Hannah’s story has well and truly come to an end – with her committing suicide in the first series.
