Google for Nonprofits offers eligible organizations access to Google products and discounts that can help solve the challenges nonprofits face: finding new donors and volunteers, working more efficiently, and getting supporters to take action.

What it gets you:

• Unlimited Gmail accounts that end in @yourdomain.com, vs @gmail.com.
• Google drive, docs, sheets, slides, etc.
• 30GB of space (up from 15 in personal accounts) for Drive documents and email hosting.
• 24/7 actual person support via phone, chat and email.
• Admin access over all your organization’s accounts.

To give nonprofits access to G Suite’s advanced features, we’re launching nonprofit discounts globally for G Suite Business ($4 per user per month, normally offered at $12) and G Suite Enterprise ($8 per user per month, normally offered at $25).

G Suite is available free for educational institutions and nonprofits. G Suite for Nonprofits is part of the Google for Nonprofits program, which also includes grants for ads and perks for YouTube and Maps. Only G Suite Basic is available under this program.

Classroom is designed for schools and is not an enterprise learning management system, but it is now available as an additional service to G Suite Basic, Business, and Enterprise customers. It remains a core service for G Suite for Education, Enterprise for Education, and Nonprofits customers.

Steps to get Google products

1. Confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements.
2. Request a Google for Nonprofits account.
3. Once your nonprofit is verified, we’ll let you know by email.
4. Then you can activate and use the individual products.

The Google for Nonprofits edition of G Suite (similar to G Suite Basic) does not come with Google Voice. Google Voice is an add-on paid subscription that you can add to any G Suite subscription. Then, if you like what it offers, non-profits and charities have access to 50% off their Pro plans. Zoom don’t offer the discount directly – you’ll need to sign up via a partner.

Fiscally sponsored organizations are not eligible for Google for Nonprofits. Organizations, such as churches, that are automatically considered tax-exempt under group exemption must still obtain recognition of 501(c)(3) tax exemption from the IRS to qualify for the Google for Nonprofits program.
