Julie, who is working toward a Ph. D., reveals that she is six months pregnant. She plans to give her daughter up for adoption, hoping to spare herself and her child the drama that she experienced while being raised by a single mother.

The final episodes of the series deal with Susan grieving and eventually moving on from Mike’s death. In the series finale, Julie gives birth to a daughter, whom she now plans on keeping. Susan sells her home on Wisteria Lane and she and M.J. move to help Julie raise the baby.

Bree continues to confide in George about her family problems but, after Rex makes it clear that Bree will stay with him, George begins tampering with Rex’s medication. This is uncovered when Rex has a second heart attack. Believing Bree was responsible, Rex writes a note forgiving her and dies.

Season 2. When Mike got home, he and Susan fought off Zach and he fled because Zach was keeping Susan so Mike would come home and Zach intended to kill him. Susan was stunned to discover that Zach is Mike’s son. After that, Zach made it clear that he felt Paul was his father.

After a verbal fight, Deirdre went to take her child, when Mary Alice stabbed and killed her. Zach woke up and saw the body, which led to years of his parents brushing off his memories of that night as nothing. Martha then blackmailed Mary Alice and she, in desperation, committed suicide.

Mary Alice was the most mysterious housewife because only portions of her story were ever told. But later, it was unveiled that this devoted and loving mother killed her illegally adopted son’s mother and stuffed the body into a toy chest.

They remarry season six, but Mike dies in season eight leaving Susan a widow. Julie is Susan’s daughter from her first marriage to Karl. Julie has a baby with Porter Scavo in season eight. Maynard James “MJ” Delfino – Mike and Susan’s young son, who is probably not as bright as his older sister, but cute nonetheless.

‘Desperate Housewives’ creator says character was killed off for lack of love interests. “Desperate Housewives” creator Marc Cherry testified Wednesday that he killed off Wisteria Lane seductress Edie Britt in the fifth season because there were simply no more male characters for her to bed.

Orson makes a brief return in the season seven premiere “Remember Paul?” where he and Bree sign the divorce papers officially ending their marriage. They appear to be on relatively good terms as Bree asks Orson if he would still attend family dinners and events.

In the five-year jump, Bree and Orson are still married. It emerged that Orson decided to go to prison after all so Bree would not divorce him. During the past five years, Danielle had returned to reclaim her son, leaving Bree alone.
