Locking-on is a valuable feature in RPGs as it helps you cast your abilities and damage opponents effectively. Games like The Legend of Zelda and Dark Souls come with this lock mechanic. Besides all the surprising microtransactions, one question Dragon's Dogma 2 players are asking is whether it will come with a lock mechanic. However, it seems that Capcom may have had some other plans here. So, can you lock on to enemies during combat in DD2? Let's find out.

13 things you didn't know were possible in DRAGON'S DOGMA 2

Unfortunately, you cannot lock onto enemies in Dragon's Dogma 2. This applies to both basic attacks and weapon skills or abilities. There is no toggle in the lock function options either. This means that you always have to rely on the game's auto-aim.

Fortunately, some abilities allow you to target enemies. In the early stages, as an archer, you can use Keen Sight to lock onto a particular target and shoot your arrow. Although it's not a proper lock-on, unlike the random target chosen in the game, you can still choose who to shoot.

You can also rely on your Steady Shot to change your target and focus on different enemies. If you want to choose your enemy yourself, choose Archer as your early game summon.
